Homes for sale in Colchester for first-time homebuyers

Homes have gone on sale in Colchester that are specifically
designed to appeal to first-time buyers.
Earlier this week, property developer Taylor Wimpey announced its
Easy Start initiative, aimed to encourage people to get on the
property ladder by paying a reduced amount on the asking
price.
The scheme for houses and apartments on the Tamarinds development
will see buyers being able to purchase a two-bedroom flat for
£106,246 instead of the original value of £124,995 and
paying only a five per cent deposit.
Regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Michael
O'Leary said: "Our incredible Easy Start scheme can make buying a
new property for sale in Colchester a reality for those who would
otherwise struggle to raise enough money for their first
home."
Taylor Wimpey confirmed that the homebuyers will be able to take a
loan out of the remaining 15 per cent, which they can pay back in
three instalments over ten years.
Earlier this week, the property development company announced its
housing expansion plans to build 112 homes in Norfolk at the Loddon
town library.
