Location key for London renters

The old property adage location, location, location appears to hold
true in the London rental market, where tenants are more concerned
about where their new home is than the price, according to the
director of Propertyfinder.com.
Nicholas Leeming said demand for a good location in the capital,
both in terms of centrality and transport links, has grown
significantly in recent years.
He noted that properties that can be rented for a low price are
generally not in a prime location and will be some way from the
nearest tube station.
"My point would revolve around whether it is convenient for
transportation links because the more convenient it is the more
opportunities there are and the more rent you pay of course," he
stated.
According to Primelocation.com House Price Index for March 2008,
the cost of prime London rental property is continuing to soar
thanks to increasingly constrained supply and strengthening
demand.
