Drum roll please…..We are thrilled to be celebrating our amazing 250th anniversary this year, making us London’s oldest established Estate Agent! We will be marking the occasion with special events throughout the year including our fun Spot-it! competition, with a great prize to be won every month and a grand draw of all the entries at the end of the year. Look out for details coming very soon.

Meanwhile – here are the men of the moment, Nigel Ellis with sons Nick and Philip enjoying a celebratory glass in the grounds of Kenwood House. Why Kenwood?

Philip Ellis, the company’s historical researcher explains:

‘As we launch our 250th year, Kenwood House is the perfect spot to have our celebration because of the connections our Prickett forebears had with the building and the Earl of Mansfield who resided there at the time. The Pricketts had a side business in carpentry and in the 1980s English Heritage unearthed a bill from Ann Prickett to the Earl for work done during renovations. The Earl also commissioned Ann’s son, John Prickett Jnr. to survey the land of the estate. The map still survives and is currently in the Earl’s new residence, Scone Palace.

By toasting a glass of bubbly, and hosting an evening there we’re not patting ourselves on the back, we’re remembering where it all began, where we came from and everyone who made the business what it is today, from 1767 onwards. Kenwood House has also stood the test of time, and having undergone recent renovations again it is also looking to the future, something we will never stop doing. We will ourselves be releasing a whole new raft of tools and services in 2017 to put our staff in prime position to help everyone achieve what they desire, and give our clients the most comprehensive service possible.’

Don’t forget to look out for news of our January competition coming soon.
