Our Fenella asked the Garden Guru for a tip or two on window boxes last week. She was delighted to learn that stuffy old formality is so last year.

especially if it includes some cottage favourites, are bang on trend. A wonderful collection of hitherto forbidden beauties were gathered at the Sunshine Garden Centre, tweaked and honed until they resembled a gloriously impressionist Monet in the trolley, before being wheeled into the car and planted up in a jiffy at home. Huzzah, job done.
