The big event today is the total solar eclipse which, in London, can be seen this morning as a partial eclipse starting at 8.45am reaching its maximum around at 9.31 am and fading to nothing by 10.41am. It would be brilliant if we have clear weather and can really enjoy this natural phenomenon but it is looking unlikely – the forecast is for the very common British eclipse of the sky by clouds. Of course please remember to protect your eyes – never look directly into the sun!
The Edible Garden Show and Good Life Live is on this weekend at Ally Pally, so that should have us looking forward to a lovely fruitful season in the garden – not long now! http://www.theediblegardenshow.co.uk/visiting
And lastly, Prickett and Ellis are very proud sponsors of Fortismere Community Orchestra, which will be wowing its audience on Saturday night with a Spring Concert filled with yummy Romantic music. Don’t miss it – 7.30 – St. Andrew’s Church, Alexandra Park Road, N10.
