Flâneur (pronounced: [flɑnœʁ]), from the French noun flâneur, means “stroller”, “lounger”, “saunterer”, or “loafer”. Flânerie is the act of strolling, with all of its accompanying associations. A near-synonym is boulevardier.

It’s all the rage I’m told, so spend the weekend strolling around our lovely area with your eyes wide open, have a cup of coffee, treat yourself to a late breakfast and pop into the North London Vintage Market for a browse – you never know what you may find.

Where and when?

Very happy weekend to you all.
