If you have a critical eye you may be wondering if there’s a typo in the title. Should that read Street Life? Well, not in this case because this weekend sees the first of four summer festival weekends at Ally Pally which are dedicated to street food and craft beer. They used to call it The Alexandra Palace Street Food & Craft Beer Festival – but the new name is more, well, ‘street’ – with its cool allusion to ‘eat’ in the title – get it?

Anyway, I digress; if you aren’t going away to the seaside (see Wednesday Moodboard for great destinations in Suffolk), or have no particular plans, why not stroll up to the Palace, sit in the sunshine and enjoy a pint with something delicious to eat too? The list of traders is amazing – click on the link to plan your general strategy – is it in any way civilised to eat churros before makatcha? http://streatlife.alexandrapalace.com/homepage/traders/
The festival takes place on Saturday 12- 10pm and Sunday 12 – 8pm. Entry is Free.

Have a wonderful Bank Holiday in the sunshine.
PS – Don’t forget to enter our Spot-it! competition – last few chances to win May’s prize. It is so easy it would be a shame not to.
