PERIOD FEATURES: There was hardly a student ball in the late 70s which wasn’t full of girls in these dresses by Laura Ashley.
I wasn’t one of them opting for a posh-punk look instead (just as cringe worthy). However, by the time I was decorating my daughter’s nursery a few years later, I, like many others, turned to Laura Ashley wallpaper and soft furnishings – period classics.
Guess which of the combinations below I chose – the small rosebuds and the pink stripes – but not quite like the Laura Ashley dream above!
