Lawyers are often described as stuffy and unapproachable – not now. At OpenDoor Conveyancing we believe that being friendly and approachable is as important as being competent and professional.

Our innovative and client focused approach enables us to co-ordinate your move efficiently and to keep you better informed than ever before.

We offer you two ways in which to enjoy our unique approach to providing the legal service when you move home:

Direct Conveyancing

Our direct conveyancing service is provided by our own legal team of conveyancers working to stringent standards. They offer expert knowledge and advice with exceptional customer service.

Regional Conveyancing

We maintain a national network of regionally appointed independent specialist conveyancing lawyers.

These firms have all been appointed upon the recommendation of team agents and enabled by us to access and utilise our systems to ensure we can co-ordinate your move efficiently and help to move you quickly.

Whichever way you wish to use us you will have the benefit of our unique home moving legal service:

No move – no fee

Should your sale or purchase fail to go ahead for any reason whatsoever, no legal fees will be payable by you.

Whether you use our Direct or Regional service we have strict service standards in place which enable us to offer you our unique Service Pledge on every case:

  1. We will make a “welcome call” to you within 4 hours of instruction.
  2. We will send you our Starter Pack within 24 hours so there is no delay.
  3. We will use electronic ID verification wherever possible to save valuable time.
  4. We will provide transaction updates to you through our website.
  5. We will return your calls the same business day.
  6. We will respond to all emails within 4 hours.
  7. We will reply to all letters, whoever they are from within 2 working days from receipt.
  8. We will immediately notify you of exchange of contracts by text, email or phone.
  9. We will on all sale instructions:
  • Within 24 hours download the Home Information Pack.
  • Within 24 hours request Official Copies, if required.
  • Within 24 hours of the HIP being downloadable or official copies being received, we will issue the draft contract.
  1. On all purchase instructions we will within 24 hours:
  • Formally request the draft contract.
  • Chase if not received within 5 working days.
  • Request any additional searches within 24 hours of search payment cleared.
  1. Our Direct Service will provide telephone coverage from 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 4.30pm on Saturdays and 1O.OOam to 3.00pm Sunday.

‘Hours’ refers to office hours which are 9-5 Monday to Friday and excludes public holidays.

‘Telephone Coverage’ refers to client support.
