It was amazing to be able to celebrate our 250th anniversary throughout 2017, including our monthly Spot-it! competition which has now come to a grand finale!
Our thanks go to everyone who took part – we hope you enjoyed the intriguing images of famous landmarks in our area taken by Nick Ellis. All our prizes came from our local partners in the community and included, Travelwise of Muswell Hill, Beauchamp Garden Design and Build, Sunshine Garden Centre, The Phoenix Cinema, photographer Paulina Sobczak, Muswell Hill Golf Club, The Urban Florist in Crouch End, Heirloom English Restaurant, Sally Bourne Interiors, Koko Shoes and the Crouch End Picture House. What a wonderful line-up – our grateful thanks to all our partners for their good wishes.
As a final flourish we launched a grand finale competition in January asking people to identify this fine fellow.
It is, of course, as many of you knew right away, the rather splendid stag seen atop the famous Bald Faced Stag Public House in East Finchley. Well done to all of you who entered. As it was our last competition of the series we included all our past entrants so everyone had an extra chance to win.
The winning number was drawn by Nigel Ellis himself, pictured here alongside Linda Leite manager of our Muswell Hill offices.
