Do you know where you will be putting your cross tomorrow? I am not talking about which candidate you will be voting for but where your local polling station is. Here’s a quirky selection of places in which the British choose to exercise their democratic duty.
There are times in any election when a given party will bring out their big guns – here at The Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich they are a constant presence.
The boxing gloves are off at this polling booth set up in the East Hull Boxing Club.
There’s no talk of a whitewash today in this launderette in Oxford.
Cute – but not exactly a holiday for this caravan owner.
Voting in a pub is more common than you would imagine – problem is do you have a drink before or after you vote?
Voting in a windmill – there has to be something clever to be said about politicians and wind!
Somebody doesn’t have far to go – having a polling booth in your front room means you have to cast a vote – even if it’s raining.
But just look at this – it has to be one of the most picturesque places to cast your vote – North Cutt Golf Course near Scarborough.
I love the fact that we don’t really care where we vote – we just want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to take part – so British
