You may well have heard of the University of the Third Age. It’s a pretty great reason to be retired or semi-retired – and we are getting a brand new local group. Lucky you if you are able to join in!

‘The U3A is a charity open to all who are retired or semi-retired, and part of an international movement. You don’t need any qualifications, just a desire to get out, learn new things, meet new people in the local area, keep your brain and body active, and most importantly, enjoy yourself. It’s about our helping each other in all our activities. There are no experts – U3A members share their skills and life experiences: the learners teach and the teachers learn, and there is no distinction between them. We have small interest groups, big talks, and social events. You decide what you want to do, and what you can offer to others. So, if you live in Alexandra Park, Crouch End, Fortis Green, Highgate, Hornsey, Muswell Hill or Stroud Green, and are looking to meet new people and engage in a whole range of enjoyable and challenging activities, both mental and physical, why not join the Crouch End & District U3A?‘
The annual subscription is £35.00 per annum and run from January 1 of each calendar year. Half yearly membership will also be available. Concessionary Membership of £5.00 per annum if in receipt of means tested benefits.
