Matthew is an award-winning wild-life photographer and over the past four years has spent time on Hampstead Heath patiently capturing the daily life of the heath and the amazing range of creatures which live there.

book

He has created a book, Hampstead Heath: London’s Countryside’, which he would like to self-publish  and there are just 11 days to go before he will know if his dream will come true or not.

Here’s what Matt has to say:

‘I’ve poured my heart and soul into gathering images for this book and built special relationships with individuals and the wider community connected to Hampstead Heath. I’m passionate about wildlife and conservation and a big advocate of getting out and exploring your local patch and with this book I want to show that you don’t have to travel far to experience amazing wildlife encounters.

I have taken the final images, written the text and the design is complete. I now need your help to raise the funds by purchasing a book, pack of cards or a print to pay for the printing and production. If you can’t manage that please help by spreading the word about this campaign through social media or the old fashioned way by telling a friend!’  matthewmaran.com/

Good luck Matthew.
