Our 250th anniversary competition this month features the fresh and bucolic work of the talented team at The Urban Flower Company. I love them and they did a wonderful job of my son’s wedding flowers a couple of years ago. More recently, in June, owner, Matt Richardson, was one of just five florists representing British Flowers Week – a week of promoting seasonal British flowers and foliages at their best. He describes his inspiration as ‘staying true to our green roots’ and he was proud to have taken British greens and put them on the map (leaves, not cabbages – though they do make a very architectural statement in an arrangement).
Here’s one of the pieces he came up with – fresh, witty and very expressive – I would have it.
His bouquets are also a delight and we are giving away £200’s worth of vouchers, to spend as you please, to a very lucky winner this month. All you have to do is enter here:
It’s easy peasy – just tell us where this well-known landmark is.
Want a clue? This Archer was aiming along the 17 mile tunnel to Morden.
